Join Ecosa Institute and Dr. Ryan Dibala of Birding Man Wildlife Tours for a full day immersion into one of Colorado’s crown jewels: Rocky Mountain National Park. Late May is peak spring migration, when returning breeders mix with migrants moving through the park’s diverse habitats. Led by a professional naturalist, this field trip goes beyond a species checklist to explore how birds are woven into the fabric of alpine, montane, and riparian ecosystems. You’ll sharpen your bird identification skills while learning about the life histories, behaviors, and ecological roles of the species we encounter. We’ll also examine conservation issues facing high-elevation landscapes, from climate change to habitat fragmentation, and discuss how science, stewardship, and informed action can make a difference. Expect inspiring wildlife, scenery, meaningful conversations, and the chance to experience Rocky Mountain National Park in a way that will connect you deeply to the natural world. Lunch will be provided.
